Currently, Aramark Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and enhance food and beverage operations at the Yuengling Drafthouse and Brewery located in Tampa, Florida. This role is vital in managing multi-million dollar revenue streams and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, large venue setting.
The Director of Operations will act as a key leader responsible for planning, managing, and leading contracted food and beverage services including concessions, catering, and premium dining at Yuengling Drafthouse and Brewery. This salaried role, which includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses, reports directly to senior leadership and requires overseeing a team of salaried direct reports. The position involves full P&L responsibility, requiring strong financial acumen and strategic focus to meet operating goals and client objectives. Alongside managing day-to-day operations, this role demands active involvement in business development, helping grow existing revenue channels and innovating new food and beverage concepts. The Director will also support major events such as sports games, concerts, and special large venue occasions, ensuring first-class execution and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large revenue accounts, leading multi-unit teams, and utilizing data-driven insights for forecasting and financial planning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, senior management, and team members are essential. Flexibility in working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required due to the nature of the venue and events. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of large venue or multi-unit management experience in a food and beverage and/or restaurant space is required
- Premium and concessions management experience preferred
- Direct P&L responsibility within a comparably scoped environment
- Ability to lead a large team of culinary & operations managers in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- The ability to lead in a complex environment with a keen focus on client and guest service, entrepreneurship, while building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role
- A passion for food & beverage with an ability to identify and develop successful concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior management
- Ability to respond effectively to changing demands
- P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Candidate must be willing to be hands-on with staff and operations and be willing to work flexible hours that include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required

Job Duties
- Full P&L responsibility in regard to food and beverage
- Manage the client relationship at the location, while providing hands on execution and leadership of operations
- Leadership of a large team of managers and workforce throughout multiple units and concepts
- Developing new concepts to increase existing revenue sources for public foods/concessions, premium service and catering outlets
- Partner with the Senior General Manager and regions Vice President of Operations to plan and execute business development strategy for growth
- Recruitment and development of new and existing managers
- Interact successfully with the client, stadium guests and team members on a regular basis
