This luxurious resort combines beachfront elegance with authentic Caribbean hospitality, offering travelers a serene and unforgettable island getaway. The resort boasts spacious guest rooms, suites, and private villas, complemented by amenities such as a large pool with a swim-up bar, a full-service marina, a spa, and multiple dining venues. Guests of the resort enjoy direct access to the Belize Barrier Reef, one of the world's most spectacular marine ecosystems, along with a variety of eco-tourism adventures that highlight the natural beauty of southern Belize. The Placencia Resort is an ideal destination not only for leisure travelers but also for corporate retreats, weddings, and special events, making it a vibrant and versatile hospitality venue.

The available position is for a Director of Operations for the Rooms Division, reporting directly to the General Manager. The Director of Operations will be a senior leader responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and coordination with Maintenance and Engineering departments. This role plays a crucial part in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering a performance-driven team culture across the resort.

As the Director of Operations, you will lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Rooms Division to ensure outstanding service quality and smooth operations. Collaborating closely with other departments like Food and Beverage, Maintenance, Sales, and Revenue Management, you will ensure seamless and integrated operations that maximize guest experience and operational efficiency.

A key part of the role also involves championing guest engagement strategies, promoting upselling and repeat-stay initiatives, and building a strong, accountable, and motivated team through effective coaching and development. This leadership position offers a high-visibility opportunity to directly impact guest experiences and operational success in a sought-after Caribbean resort destination. The Director of Operations will be instrumental in shaping a positive team culture and contributing to the resort’s overall growth and reputation.

This role not only demands a strong operational focus but also embraces the chance to live and work in one of Belize's most beautiful and vibrant communities, providing a unique lifestyle experience coupled with professional growth opportunities within Remington Hospitality. If you are a results-oriented hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic resort environment, The Placencia Belize Resort invites you to apply and join their leadership team.
