KinderCare Learning Companies is a leading early childhood education provider recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation in child care and learning experiences. Celebrated as the first and only early childhood organization awarded the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, KinderCare offers diverse education and child care options through its brands including KinderCare Learning Centers, Champions, and Crème de la Crème. This extensive network focuses on fostering confident learners and supporting families in neighborhoods across the nation. With over 2,000 sites in 40 states and the District of Columbia, KinderCare is dedicated to making high-quality early education accessible and inclusive for all children and families.
At Crème de la Crème, a premium brand within KinderCare Learning Companies, learning is dynamic and ever-changing, designed to engage children in developmentally enriching activities. The environments here are vibrant, reflecting the lively nature of the kids themselves. Joining Crème de la Crème means becoming part of a community passionate about early childhood development and committed to making a significant, positive impact not only on children but also their families. The role of the School Director of Operations at Crème de la Crème is pivotal to this mission, serving as the operational backbone that supports educational excellence.
As the School Director of Operations, you will be entrusted with developing and implementing operational plans that align with the organization's mission, goals, and educational objectives. The position requires collaboration with other leadership members to ensure operational strategies are integrated with educational initiatives, maintaining a seamless flow between program delivery and facility management. You will oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the facilities, ensuring an environment conducive to learning and safe for children, staff, and visitors. This includes managing relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to meet facility needs effectively.
Additionally, you'll handle resource optimization, including budgeting, staffing, and supply management, to maintain operational efficiency. Monitoring family billing and operational expenses within budgetary constraints is also a critical part of the role, alongside supervising administrative staff and providing leadership to center support teams. The role also includes coordinating with the Executive Director to manage staffing levels and payroll, fostering clear communication and collaboration between school staff, and aligning operational support with educational goals. Occasionally, you may participate directly in daily school operations, including supervising children to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the center's environment and needs.
This full-time role requires a multifaceted skill set and offers an opportunity to lead in a vibrant early childhood education setting that values employee contributions and growth. The position is ideal for professionals with a background in operations management, particularly within educational or childcare contexts, who are passionate about shaping young lives and supporting families. KinderCare Learning Companies offers a competitive benefits package aimed at supporting the entire family, including discounted child care, medical, dental, and vision benefits, employee assistance programs, health and wellness initiatives, paid time off, and various discounts for work necessities. Together, these benefits and career opportunities make KinderCare a desirable workplace for committed professionals ready to make a difference in early childhood education.
