This full-time management position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $169,000 to $247,800, plus bonus eligibility. It requires strategic oversight of hotel operations, encompassing Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance departments. The General Manager acts as the strategic business leader responsible for aligning departmental strategies with brand standards and corporate objectives. They ensure customer satisfaction, optimize operational efficiencies, maximize financial performance, and maintain positive owner relations. This role demands a leader with experience preferably in luxury-branded service and senior leadership. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive property-wide strategies to exceed guest and employee expectations while delivering a strong return on investment.
Key responsibilities include managing profitability by analyzing guest satisfaction drivers and executing decisions to achieve goals, managing revenue targets by monitoring sales performance and controlling expenses, leading department teams in championing the brand’s service vision, overseeing the guest experience through direct interaction and feedback analysis, and managing human resources activities to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce. The General Manager communicates clear departmental goals, addresses problem areas proactively, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 4 years relevant experience
- Or 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience
- Ability to analyze financial reports and sales performance
- Proven leadership in managing multi-department hotel operations
- Experience handling guest relations and service recovery
- Strong human resources management capabilities
- Must be located or willing to relocate to Honolulu, Hawaii
