The company is dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and efficient air travel solutions to meet the diverse needs of its clientele. With a commitment to maintaining stringent safety standards and regulatory compliance, FJC Charter has built a reputation as a trusted operator in the aviation industry. Operating under strict FAA oversight, its services ensure the highest levels of safety, operational integrity, and customer satisfaction. Freeman Jet Center emphasizes a strategic, business-focused approach to flight operations, integrating comprehensive policies and procedures aimed at continuous improvement and adherence to federal regulations. The company culture promotes professionalism, continuous training, and a safety-first mindset that permeates all organizational levels.

The Director of Operations actively liaises with the Director of Maintenance to address mechanical and operational irregularities promptly and effectively.

Candidates for this role will be expected to bring substantial flight experience, including a minimum of 3,000 total flying hours with specific pilot-in-command and cross-country experience. Prior leadership experience in similar Part 135 operational roles is essential. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional aviation experience is also required. The role demands excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality, coaching, and conflict resolution. Proficiency in federal aviation regulations, computer applications, and financial management is critical. The Director must be a current Airline Transport Pilot certificate holder capable of maintaining a Second-Class Medical certificate. This is a full-time position that requires an employee of FJC Charter, offering a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and a matching 401(k) retirement plan.
