Job Description

SAYN is a distinguished company operating within the luxury consumer goods sector, known for its commitment to quality and exceptional product presentation. As a specialized operator in this niche market, SAYN emphasizes precision and meticulous standards across its entire fulfillment and warehouse operations. The company handles a diverse range of beauty, personal care, and other sensitive consumer goods, ensuring that each product reaches customers in impeccable condition. Their operations encompass complex fulfillment systems, including multi-channel distribution and adherence to stringent compliance protocols, particularly through Amazon's FBA and Seller or Vendor Central platforms.

The role of Operator at SAYN is a pivotal leadership position requiring 8 to 12 years of extensive operations management experience within warehouse or distribution environments. This position commands direct responsibility for managing Amazon fulfillment operations, including FBA prep, inbound compliance, and workflows related to Seller and Vendor Central accounts. Because SAYN operates within the luxury segment, the candidate must possess a profound understanding of the unique sensitivities and presentation standards associated with beauty and personal care products, which demand a higher level of care and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be systems-literate and data-driven, adept at navigating fast-paced operational environments while leading their teams with clarity and discipline. They will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, fostering effective collaboration across departments and instilling a culture of ownership and accountability within their teams. Managing multi-channel fulfillment operations at a revenue scale between $100 million and $150 million is a significant advantage for candidates, reflecting the scale and complexity of SAYN's operations.

Operationally, the role involves ownership of all daily warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy and quality through rigorous cycle counts and variance management to maintain inventory integrity. The operator will drive efficiencies in throughput and space utilization to meet the demands of multiple fulfillment channels, balancing speed with the strict luxury brand packaging and presentation standards. Coordination with vendors and logistics partners is also a critical component, requiring oversight on inbound freight scheduling, vendor delivery management, and proactive communication to prevent operational bottlenecks.

Process ownership is essential, with the operator expected to build, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that foster consistency and eliminate variability across all fulfillment areas. Continuous improvement initiatives are a fundamental responsibility, alongside the development and maintenance of operational dashboards and performance metrics. The operator will lead root cause analyses on any operational disruptions and drive corrective action directly in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership team.

Additionally, the role includes extensive cross-functional collaboration with Marketplace teams for planning and execution, Finance teams for accurate inventory reporting, and Customer Service for fulfillment issue resolution. Leading and mentoring frontline managers such as warehouse managers, supervisors, and operations leads falls under this role’s purview. Cultivating a culture of ownership and safety compliance is paramount, ensuring that SAYN's standards are consistently upheld.

This full-time leadership opportunity offers candidates the chance to contribute strategically to SAYN’s growth and operational excellence within the luxury fulfillment space. It demands a unique blend of operational expertise, leadership acumen, and an uncompromising focus on quality and brand integrity, tailored to a high-volume multi-channel fulfillment environment.
