Job Requirements

  • Must possess the minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • three to five years of successful experience in a supervisory capacity
  • extensive experience in adult education and/or event planning
  • strong planning, organization, and evaluation skills
  • supervisory and leadership experience
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively
  • knowledge of emotional and social needs of residents
  • familiarity with community agencies and resources
  • capability to manage budgets and ensure regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Job Duties

  • Oversees all resident services operations including programming, transportation, salon, and concierge functions
  • develops resident-centered programs based on needs, interests, and well-being
  • ensures high-quality, engaging services and experiences for residents
  • establishes and tracks annual departmental goals and objectives
  • evaluates programs using qualitative and quantitative performance data
  • ensures effective communication and promotion of events and services
  • coordinates collaboration across resident services and other departments
  • develops policies and procedures prioritizing safety and resident convenience
  • builds community partnerships with organizations such as churches, volunteers, and educators
  • drives innovation through planning and implementation of new programs
  • manages staffing levels, hiring, training, and employee development within budget
  • provides ongoing supervision, feedback, coaching, and performance management
  • ensures compliance with regulatory standards and readiness for inspections
  • manages budgets, financial performance, purchasing, and capital planning
  • upholds quality standards, resident relations, confidentiality, professionalism, and required compliance duties
