As the Director of Lab Services - Test & Measurement (T&M) at TestEquity, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing the strategic direction, operational excellence, and compliance of our three laboratory facilities. This key position is responsible for driving the overall performance of lab services by leading a high-caliber team, managing the service portfolio, and ensuring stringent adherence to industry quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Director will also be tasked with developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance testing efficiency, productivity, and reliability, ensuring that our customers receive premium quality services that meet or exceed their expectations.
This role requires a visionary leader who is adept at operational management and can inspire technical excellence within their teams. You will be entrusted with the daily management of testing operations, including calibration workflows, equipment maintenance, and personnel management, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strategic planning is a significant facet of the role, necessitating the development of forward-thinking strategies that optimize resource utilization and align with organizational goals. Additionally, the Director will oversee budgetary management while ensuring cost-efficiencies and profitability across all laboratory functions.
In collaboration with multiple stakeholders, you will provide data-driven insights through rigorous analysis and reporting of testing data, thus enabling informed decision-making and the continuous refinement of lab services. The position requires frequent travel between our Moorpark headquarters and other lab locations in Oceanside, CA, and Nashua, NH, ensuring hands-on leadership and consistency in service standards across facilities.
