The Director of Operations – Inventory Initiatives & Projects role is a critical leadership position based in the Frisco/DFW area. This role drives enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at reducing waste, improving decision-making, and enhancing the organization's capabilities across all stages of inventory management. Responsibilities include elevating visibility through comprehensive analytics and reporting, establishing rigorous operating routines and governance for managing inventory and BSO performance, and spearheading cross-functional collaborations across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Analytics teams.

The Director will lead strategic inventory projects focusing on minimizing obsolescence, trade breaks, resets, and ensuring overall inventory health. This includes standardizing inventory processes such as 30-60-90-day reviews, donations, destructions, trade breaks, resets, and repack operations. A key component of the role is designing and implementing enterprise-wide BSO training programs tailored to build functional capabilities and ensure consistent execution.

Strong leadership and influencing skills without direct authority are necessary, along with proven experience in driving large-scale initiatives and delivering measurable business results. The Director must exhibit exceptional analytical proficiency to translate complex data into actionable insights that guide decision-making processes. The role requires excellent communication and executive presentation abilities to align stakeholders, drive accountability, and maintain momentum throughout project lifecycles. This position involves working effectively across various functions and organizational levels to remove barriers and achieve strategic outcomes.

Compensation for this role ranges from $155,500 to $180,000 annually, with actual placement dependent on experience and skills. Job Duties

  • Drive visibility and insight through weekly analytics and reporting that enable fact-based decision-making and accountability
  • establish and sustain operating routines and governance to manage inventory and BSO performance end-to-end
