We are seeking a talented and dedicated Human Resources Management professional to join our team on a full-time basis with an annual salary range of $105,000 to $137,000 plus bonus eligibility. In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic human resource initiatives that attract, retain, and develop premier talent across our diverse workforce. This position supervises and collaborates with human resource employees in key areas including recruitment, total compensation, employee relations, and training and development. You will play a critical role in implementing the objectives outlined in our Human Resource Business Plan, delivering services that not only meet but exceed employee expectations while facilitating business success. Compliance is paramount in this role, requiring the management of legal and regulatory standards as well as adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure lawful and ethical human resource operations.
This role demands a proactive approach to managing legal and compliance practices by overseeing documentation, employee disciplinary actions, and audit compliance to maintain property-wide adherence to policies such as Sexual Harassment, Non-Harassment, Non-Discrimination, and No Solicitation. You will liaise with unemployment service providers and represent the property in unemployment hearings, maintaining fair and equitable treatment for all employees. The position also involves managing human resources communications, including disseminating timely updates on benefit plan changes and ensuring employee handbooks clearly convey property rules and regulations. Coaching managers on progressive discipline processes and cultivating consistent administration of policies and procedures further define this role.
In addition, you will oversee staffing and employee development activities by participating in recruitment efforts for HR team members, maintaining performance evaluations and merit increase documentation, and managing the appraisal process to ensure timely reviews and merit adjustments. Maintaining productive employee relations is essential, requiring you to foster open, collaborative relationships through an open-door policy, active communication channels, and employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving retention. Monitoring the work environment for union activities and soliciting employee feedback to enhance the workplace culture are also key duties.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in human resources, business administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area
- Strong knowledge of human resource laws and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area

Job Duties
- Ensures terminated employee files are retained for the required length of time
- Ensures compliance on all human resource audits
- Ensures proper documentation of all progressive disciplinary action is kept in employee file
- Ensures compliance with key policies such as Sexual Harassment, Non-Harassment, Non-Discrimination, No Solicitation
- Works with the unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims
- Attends unemployment hearings and ensures property is properly represented
- Ensures employees are treated fairly and equitably
- Ensures Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy is consistently followed and proper documentation is maintained on all disciplinary issues
- Communicates changes to the benefit plans in a timely manner
- Communicates property rules and regulations via an employee handbook
- Coaches managers on progressive discipline process
- Participates in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resources employee team members
- Ensures performance evaluations and merit increase paperwork are maintained in employee files
- Manages performance appraisal process
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees
- Utilizes an open door policy to address employee problems or concerns in a timely manner
- Ensures effective employee communication channels are established and active in departments
