The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge represents a leadership opportunity within a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least five years of experience managing a team
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • No degree required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies
  • order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
  • Monitor and control expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
  • Ability to drive company vehicles throughout the property
