Job Description
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a motivated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, located in Fish Camp, California. As an Executive Housekeeper at Tenaya Lodge, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of housekeepers to ensure the entire resort maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest readiness at all times. Your leadership will extend to hiring, training, and scheduling housekeepers as well as conducting thorough performance evaluations and managing the housekeeping budget. This role is pivotal to the overall guest experience, as cleanliness and attention to detail are critical components in maintaining Tenaya Lodge’s reputation as a premier outdoor hospitality destination. Your duties will include maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all housekeeping reports and projects are completed on schedule, and monitoring expenses and payroll to align with operational budgets. Additionally, you will conduct regular inspections of housekeeping standards throughout the property and implement corrective measures when necessary. A valid driver’s license is required as you will also be tasked with driving company vehicles around the resort grounds.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have at least five years of experience managing a team
- Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
- Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
- No degree required
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and carry
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of experience managing a team
- Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
- Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties
- Lead and manage a team of housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
- Maintain inventory of supplies, order and distribute supplies and equipment
- Ensure all reports, orders, and projects are completed
- Monitor and control expenses and payroll, ensuring proper resources
- Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
- Drive company vehicles throughout the property
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across the resort
