Job Description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a renowned hospitality company with a rich history spanning over 100 years. The company operates a diverse portfolio of businesses, including iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and resorts, offering guests unique and memorable experiences. They are committed to providing excellent service and fostering a positive work environment for their team members. One of their premier properties is Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, including towering granite peaks and lush forests, Tenaya Lodge offers guests a range of outdoor adventures and modern accommodations. The resort also features Waybound, a collection of contemporary cabins and cottages designed for a more private and retreat-style stay, while still providing access to the resort's extensive amenities. Joining Tenaya Lodge means becoming part of a hospitality experience deeply connected to the outdoors and one of California’s most iconic destinations.

The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping operation to ensure the resort maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest readiness. As the leader of the housekeeping team, the Executive Housekeeper will handle hiring, training, scheduling, managing performance, and evaluating staff to create an efficient and motivated team. This role demands strong organizational skills as it includes managing inventory, ordering supplies and equipment, and ensuring that all housekeeping reports, orders, and projects are completed accurately and on time. The Executive Housekeeper also monitors expenses and payroll while ensuring that resources are properly allocated to meet operational needs.

This position requires conducting thorough housekeeping inspections and taking immediate corrective actions to uphold the resort’s quality standards. Additionally, the role requires the ability to operate company vehicles around the property as necessary. The job offers a competitive salary range from $70,304 to $88,400 per year, along with an annual bonus based on company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan. Delaware North values the professional growth of their employees and provides relocation assistance, temporary housing, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, parental leave, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. The schedule for this role includes days, holidays, evenings as needed, and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with five or more years of leadership experience in housekeeping who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment at one of the most beautiful resorts in the country.
