Known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Delaware North provides career opportunities in some of the most iconic locations including famous sports arenas, national parks, and luxury resorts. The company’s portfolio includes hotels, casinos, restaurants, and other entertainment venues, with a strong focus on growth and career development for its team members.

One of their signature properties, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, is a prestigious 4-diamond resort located just outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. Nestled among towering trees and majestic granite peaks, the resort offers guests a unique blend of outdoor adventure and luxury accommodation. Tenaya Lodge also features Waybound, a nearby collection of modern cabins and cottages designed for guests seeking privacy and retreat style stays while still having access to the resort’s amenities. This resort not only caters to outdoor enthusiasts but also prioritizes top-notch customer service and a warm hospitality environment for all visitors.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is currently seeking a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the housekeeping team at Tenaya Lodge. This role is full-time and offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,304 to $88,400 per year, along with the opportunity to earn an annual performance-based bonus or an uncapped sales incentive plan depending on the role. Relocation assistance and temporary housing options are provided for qualified candidates, making this an attractive opportunity for those interested in advancing their career in hospitality while enjoying the natural beauty surrounding Yosemite.

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial leadership role in ensuring the entire resort remains impeccably clean, sanitized, and guest-ready. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces. This fast-paced, hands-on position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Executive Housekeeper will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining supply inventories, ordering cleaning materials and equipment, and managing budgets and payroll to ensure cost efficiency.

This role also demands conducting regular housekeeping inspections and taking immediate corrective actions as necessary to uphold the resort’s quality standards. As the leader of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture that aligns with Delaware North’s values and commitment to guest satisfaction. The ability to drive company vehicles around the property is also required, emphasizing the dynamic nature of the job.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of five years’ experience managing housekeeping teams. A strong knowledge of cleaning tools, machinery, solvents, and safety practices, including the use of Material Safety Data Sheets, is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient for this role, and a valid driver’s license is required. Physical stamina is important as the role includes frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Working at Tenaya Lodge means being part of a team that values personal and professional growth, offering numerous benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off, parental leave, educational reimbursement, and generous discounts at Delaware North properties.
