With over 100 years of history as a family-owned business, Delaware North combines legacy with innovation, offering its team members unique opportunities to grow and thrive in diverse environments. The company operates a variety of facilities including restaurants, hotels, casinos, sports arenas, and national parks, emphasizing a culture centered on people and quality service. One of its renowned properties is Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. This resort is nestled among beautiful trees and granite peaks, providing guests with memorable outdoor experiences and access to retreat-style stays via Waybound, a collection of modern cabins and cottages offering privacy while maintaining access to resort amenities.

The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite presents a dynamic opportunity for professionals dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards while leading a team. This position is full-time with a competitive salary range of $70,304 to $88,400 per year. On top of the base salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus plan contingent on company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are available for candidates relocating to join the team. The position demands strong leadership skills to manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of housekeeping personnel. The Executive Housekeeper ensures that every part of the resort meets rigorous cleanliness standards, oversees inventory and supplies, conducts inspections, controls costs, and ensures efficient labor deployment. The role requires frequent physical activity, including walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, vital for maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Delaware North values its team members' career and personal development, offering comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and generous employee discounts at affiliated hotels and resorts. This role is a key part of the resort's commitment to excellent hospitality shaped by the natural beauty of Yosemite. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful team management, knowledge of cleaning methods and safety standards, and a valid driver's license to navigate the resort property effectively. The Executive Housekeeper position offers both challenge and career advancement in one of California's most iconic destinations, inviting candidates who are passionate about leadership in hospitality to apply and become part of Delaware North's global family.
