Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in housekeeping preferably in luxury or boutique hotels
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and delegate tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and inventory management tools
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in housekeeping preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel environment
  • Proven ability to manage large teams delegate effectively and lead with empathy and clarity
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a sharp eye for detail and efficiency
  • Experience with scheduling software inventory systems and housekeeping management tools

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all housekeeping operations including guestrooms public areas laundry and back-of-house spaces
  • Set and maintain high standards for cleanliness organization and service consistency
  • Oversee staffing recruiting scheduling performance management and development of a large housekeeping and laundry team
  • Partner with the Rooms Division Engineering and Front Office to ensure rooms are clean maintained and ready for guests on time
  • Implement and monitor systems for quality control safety inventory and operational efficiency
  • Forecast department needs based on occupancy events and business volume
  • Manage budgets labor costs and supply ordering in line with financial goals
  • Conduct inspections audits and ongoing training to uphold excellence in execution
  • Foster a team culture that aligns with Saint Kate's values creativity service collaboration and inclusion
