Job Description
Colwen Management, Inc. is an independent franchisee that owns and operates the Renaissance Patriot Place Hotel. Unlike corporate-run properties, this hotel is managed with an entrepreneurial spirit, allowing for unique and localized approaches to service, operations, and guest experience. Colwen Management, Inc. oversees all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and other employment conditions, which makes it a distinct entity separate from Marriott International, Inc., the franchisor. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep understanding of hotel operations and service standards

Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Engineering
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and memorable experiences
- Support recruiting, hiring, training, and performance development of associates
- Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and profitability initiatives
- Ensure teams consistently meet brand and Colwen Hotels service standards
- Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful workplace culture
- Champion associate recognition and engagement initiatives
- Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, product quality, and service excellence
- Collaborate closely with all departments including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance
