Aramark is currently hiring for an exciting new hospitality community located just an hour and a half from Amarillo, Texas. The role available is Vice President of Operations (VPO), a dynamic and highly responsible leadership position reporting directly to the Regional Vice President. This pivotal role oversees the overall operations of a major contracted-services account, generating over $80 million in annual revenue. The VPO is charged with leading and galvanizing a team under a unified growth and operations platform with a clear objective to drive operational efficiency, increase revenue, improve margins, and ensure client retention. The role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and creative innovation to deliver exceptional value to clients by expanding and enhancing their service requirements.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the operational strategy, setting priorities, and guiding the direction for business activities within the assigned geographic area. They will manage all aspects of the business including sales, finance, human resources, and customer service with full profit and loss accountability. The VPO will collaborate closely with internal functional partners such as Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance to align organizational goals and sustain high performance.

In this capacity, the VPO drives new sales growth within the existing client base, ensures exemplary customer service, and leads a motivated and productive team using effective communication, empowerment, and coaching techniques. Furthermore, the VPO partners with business unit leaders and other stakeholders to inspire change and implement innovative business processes. This is a critical leadership role that requires a versatile, strategic, and hands-on approach to managing complex, global business operations and delivering measurable results while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree desired
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive management experience
  • Experience in food, facilities, or retail service sector preferred
  • Proven leadership and client management skills
  • Strong business analysis and project management abilities
  • Ability to manage complex global business operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects remotely
  • Ability to recruit and develop key leaders

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree desired
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive responsibility, successful experience in general management with full P&L responsibility
  • Experience in food, facilities, or retail service sector preferred
  • Proven leadership and experience managing effective client relationships
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills
  • Ability to grasp a large, complex global business and use this understanding to set strategy and drive process improvement
  • Strong business savvy and communication skills with executives
  • Business planning skills to complete strategic projects with evolving processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resources in a dispersed organization
  • Ability to select top talent and foster a productive environment promoting initiative, innovation, and learning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with various audiences including clients, managers, and C-level leaders

Job Duties

  • Manage all facets of the area including sales, finance, human resources, and customer service including full P&L accountability
  • Drive new sales growth within existing client base and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients
  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members and lead the design, development, and execution of those strategies to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Lead and manage a highly productive, motivated and driven team through strong communication, empowerment, reward, and coaching techniques
  • Maintain close working relationships with partner groups in functional areas including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance
  • Partner with the business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to inspire change and implement new business processes
