The Delaney Georgetown is currently seeking a Director of Health Services to lead and oversee all nursing functions within the community. This critical role involves planning, organizing, and developing all aspects of nursing services to ensure the highest standards of care for the community's residents. As the Director of Health Services, you will have responsibility for supervising healthcare personnel, including Nurse Managers, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Partners, Medication Assistants, and other health services staff. You will provide leadership in training, evaluating, and counseling staff while maintaining compliance with state licensing regulations and corporate policies. A key component of this role is the coordination and implementation of the Heartfelt Connections™ Memory Care program, ensuring nursing staff receive ongoing education and uphold best practices. Additionally, you will act as the coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services, collaborate closely with residents and families to create personalized care plans, and oversee the assessment and billing related to changes in residents' levels of care. Job Requirements
- Licensed as a registered or licensed nurse in state of employment
- Minimum two (2) years experience in nursing
- Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred
- Ability to supervise and manage healthcare personnel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with state regulatory guidelines and nursing documentation
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to senior care

- Licensed as a Registered or Licensed Nurse in state of employment
Job Duties
- Supervise all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures
- Supervise the Nurse Manager, LPN-LVN-Care Partner, Quality of Life Specialist, Medication Assistant/CMA, and Health Services Associate
- Supervise, as needed, the schedule of nursing services/personnel
- Coordinate training, implementation and maintenance of Heartfelt Connections™ Memory Care program and oversee ongoing education of nursing staff
- Maintain medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for licensing and corporate policies
- Serve as department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services
- Assess residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care
- Work closely with residents and families to develop and implement appropriate Plan of Care
