The role of Director of Guest Experience at The Global Ambassador is a leadership position central to ensuring the hotel delivers an unparalleled luxury guest journey. This is a full-time opportunity targeted at an experienced, strategic, and service-oriented professional who thrives within a high-end hospitality environment. The Director of Guest Experience is responsible for overseeing all Front Office operations including Front Desk, Concierge, PBX, Bell, and Valet services. The position requires a leader with a proven track record in delivering exceptional service standards, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, and driving operational efficiencies.

Beyond daily operational management, this role demands a visionary who can develop and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction, optimize resources, maximize revenue opportunities, and maintain consistency with the luxury standards that define The Global Ambassador brand. The Director will collaborate closely with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and profitable operations. This role also involves being a visible and approachable leader who actively engages with both guests and team members to cultivate memorable and personalized hospitality moments.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations, with proven success in managing front office teams, meeting financial targets, and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. Knowledge of Forbes Five Star standards is preferred, alongside proficiency in budget management, forecasting, and operational metrics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt quickly to the dynamic luxury hospitality landscape including familiarity with the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley markets. Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee all Front Office operations including Front Desk, Concierge, PBX, Bell and Valet
  • Champion an elevated guest journey experience that reflects the luxury standards of The Global Ambassador
  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiency, optimize resources, maximize revenue opportunities, and elevate guest satisfaction
  • Establish, implement, and maintain luxury service standards ensuring consistent execution of policies, procedures, and brand expectations
  • Monitor departmental performance, financial results, and guest feedback adjusting strategies as needed to achieve operational and budgetary goals
  • Partner closely with hotel leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless daily operations and an exceptional guest journey
  • Serve as a visible and approachable leader actively engaging with guests and team members to create memorable experiences
