The Nutrition Group is currently seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition to oversee daily cafeteria operations within a K-12 school district. This leadership role involves responsibility for managing all aspects of the food service program, ensuring compliance with USDA and state nutrition guidelines, and maintaining budgetary controls. The Director will develop and manage school menus that promote healthy eating while adhering to regulatory standards. Additionally, the role requires managing food costs, budgeting, and inventory control to optimize operational efficiency.

A critical component of the position is leading and supervising cafeteria staff, cultivating a work environment that is both positive and productive. The Director will also be tasked with ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting processes related to food service operations.
