This dedication has positioned the company as an industry leader, renowned for delivering high-quality, nutritious food and exceptional support services. The company culture is grounded in teamwork, innovation, and continuous growth, fostering an environment where every team member plays a vital role in the success of the organization.
The Nutrition Group is currently seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition to oversee daily cafeteria operations within a K-12 school district. This leadership role involves responsibility for managing all aspects of the food service program, ensuring compliance with USDA and state nutrition guidelines, and maintaining budgetary controls. The Director will develop and manage school menus that promote healthy eating while adhering to regulatory standards. A critical component of the position is leading and supervising cafeteria staff, cultivating a work environment that is both positive and productive. The Director will also be tasked with ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting processes related to food service operations. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role demands maintaining effective relationships with school district administrators and officials. This position offers a consistent Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule, with no requirements for nights, weekends, or holiday work, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Compensation includes company-paid individual health coverage, with additional options for dental and vision plans. The Nutrition Group also offers a 401(k) plan with company matching, life insurance coverage, paid time off and holidays, professional development opportunities, and tuition reimbursement. This comprehensive benefits package, along with a supportive and inclusive work culture, makes this an excellent opportunity for a qualified food service professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in a school district setting. The Nutrition Group is committed to diversity and inclusion and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
