The open position at The Nutrition Group is for a Director of Food and Nutrition who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a K-12 School Cafeteria. This role focuses heavily on culinary and catering aspects, ensuring that all programs meet USDA and state guidelines while maintaining exemplary standards of service and quality. The Director of Food and Nutrition will play a critical role in menu development, cost and inventory control, staff management, and ensuring accurate accounting practices. They will serve as the primary communication link between the school district officials and the food service teams, coordinating efforts to meet both educational and nutritional objectives. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with no night shifts, no weekend work, holidays off, and a Monday through Friday schedule during daylight hours, making it an ideal role for those seeking schedule stability and family-friendly work conditions.
