The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package supporting employees’ well-being and development, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans with company matching, among other perks.

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, part of the Delaware North family, is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the South Entrance to Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. Surrounded by majestic trees and striking granite peaks, Tenaya Lodge offers a wide array of outdoor experiences while providing luxurious accommodations and exceptional service. The environment at Tenaya Lodge fosters a hospitality experience deeply connected to the natural beauty of Yosemite, making it a unique destination for guests seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Your leadership will directly impact guest satisfaction, financial results, and the overall reputation of Tenaya Lodge’s food and beverage offerings.

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary range of $99,800 to $134,700 per year, supplemented by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan specific to the role. Relocation assistance is available to help candidates transition smoothly to the Fish Camp area. Tenaya Lodge values a strong team culture and supports continuous learning and professional growth, reflected in benefits such as tuition reimbursement and paid parental leave. This position also requires managing various shifts, including days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and special events, ensuring comprehensive oversight of all food and beverage functions.

The ideal candidate will possess at least seven years of large-scale hospitality management experience, demonstrating leadership in multi-outlet food and beverage operations, banquet coordination, and financial oversight. Proficiency with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, catering software, and point-of-sale systems, is essential. Strong assessment and decision-making skills are necessary to build relationships across organizational levels and influence positive outcomes. A bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license to fulfill responsibilities that may include operating a company vehicle. The Director of Food and Beverage will embody Delaware North’s values of inclusivity, respect, and excellence while fostering a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for team members and guests alike. This role invites a passionate leader who is dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences set against the stunning backdrop of Yosemite National Park, contributing to the enduring success of Tenaya Lodge and Delaware North’s mission to provide great times in great places.
