Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead, guide, and train our Associates within the food and beverage department. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations, ensuring management presence during shifts, and supporting the team to achieve seamless service delivery. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for establishing, directing, and reviewing performance standards related to food preparation, purchasing, and production. The role demands effective scheduling, coaching, and counseling of team members, as well as ensuring inventory and materials necessary for job performance are adequately supplied. Maintaining cleanliness, organizational standards, and compliance with all applicable state and local food safety laws is critical. Additionally, the candidate will establish and review liquor procedures to ensure security and accountability. Our ideal candidate will bring solid leadership experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and a team-oriented mindset to help enhance the guest experience. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role within our company.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food and beverage leadership role
  • knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations as it relates to food and liquor
  • strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • ability to travel occasionally
  • flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a standard office environment
  • ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
  • occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
  • frequent fine motor skills for keyboarding, typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items occasionally
  • ability to lift and move 10-25 pounds as needed
  • visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus and color differentiation
  • ability to hear and participate in conversations and use phone or headset

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage leadership role with proven record of success
  • knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations as it relates to food and liquor, ensuring food and beverage staff have all been trained in responsible alcohol service
  • strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead, guide and train Associates in food and beverage department
  • ensure management presence during each shift to ensure appropriate support for team
  • establish, direct and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing and production to ensure effective, controlled and coordinated efforts are achieved
  • schedule, evaluate and direct food and beverage team
  • provide coaching and counseling when necessary
  • ensure inventory, supplies and materials needed are provided for Associates to perform their jobs
  • monitor, direct and coordinate effective cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas
  • maintain compliance with all applicable state and local laws regarding food and safety
  • establish, direct and review liquor procedures to ensure adequate security and accountability
