Job Requirements

  • College degree or hospitality certifications preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years’ previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems

  • Previous experience in food and beverage department head positions
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with culinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in food and beverage computer systems

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct and control the work of Team Members and managers in the food & beverage department
  • Ensure exceptional level of service and attention to guests
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control
  • Focus on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit
  • Be visible in the operation
  • Recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests
  • Cultivate relationships with new patrons
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price
  • Communicate with team members and managers to ensure operational needs are met
  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
