Job Description

The Ned is a prestigious global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants designed to bring like-minded individuals together to meet, work, and enjoy exceptional experiences. Established in 2017 with the opening of The Ned London, the brand has expanded significantly, proudly launching its fourth and newest location in Washington DC in 2025. Ned's Club Washington DC is situated within the historic Riggs Building, a neoclassical-style landmark nestled in President's Park at 734 15th Street NW, directly opposite the US Treasury and just around the corner from the White House. This exclusive members' club spans three floors, featuring a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with breathtaking views of iconic landmarks such as the White House, US Treasury, and Washington Monument. The venue also includes elegant spaces such as the Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery, Conservatory, and a private events floor on level nine.

As the Director of Food & Beverage at Ned's Club Washington DC, you will play a vital role in upholding the club's reputation for delivering unparalleled culinary and beverage experiences. Reporting directly to the General Manager and serving on the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for managing the entire Food & Beverage (F&B) operation, including maintaining service standards across all venues within the club. This dynamic leadership position requires managing a diverse and talented team, fostering a collaborative environment that aligns with Ned's Club's vision, and driving innovative ideas alongside renowned chefs and mixologists. Your role will involve overseeing the full profit and loss lifecycle, from forecasting and budget management to payroll and revenue optimization.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities, a keen attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. You will partner with various departments to ensure seamless and elevated service, implement comprehensive staff training programs on product knowledge and service excellence, and contribute to recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent. Additionally, you will engage with members to gather valuable feedback, leading initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and experience. You will also collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to align service delivery with culinary vision, manage member complaints with professionalism, and maintain high guest satisfaction scores.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the food and beverage landscape at one of the nation’s most distinguished members' clubs and contribute to creating memorable and impeccable guest experiences. The Ned embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a vibrant and supportive workplace culture that encourages professional growth and development. The salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $195,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, company-paid life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, complimentary meals, professional development programs, exclusive hotel and dining rates, paid time off, 401k matching, employee assistance programs, and reward and recognition initiatives.

Joining The Ned means becoming part of a passionate community dedicated to excellence in hospitality. If you seek a challenging and rewarding leadership role in a prestigious environment where your efforts directly impact exceptional member experiences, this is your opportunity to thrive and contribute at the highest level.
