The Four Seasons Hotel New York is now seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead its world-class dining operations. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $185,000 to $195,000, alongside eligibility for a performance-based annual incentive plan.

As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will have the pivotal role of shaping and overseeing all aspects of the Food & Beverage division, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s objectives, brand standards, and ownership expectations. Your leadership will foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and superior guest service. You will lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build and sustain a high-performing team while collaborating closely with hotel leadership and culinary teams to continually enhance dining concepts, menus, and beverage programs. Your efforts will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiencies, and sustaining exceptional guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating strategic plans that propel the Food & Beverage department forward, identifying market trends, and leading special projects such as promotions, partnerships, and renovations. Your leadership presence will be visible across all Food & Beverage venues, building strong relationships with guests and internal stakeholders alike. Additionally, you will oversee financial stewardship including budget management, forecasting, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while balancing the operational needs of the department.

The successful candidate will be adaptable with a flexible schedule, able to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Food & Beverage leadership roles preferably in luxury hotels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in Food & Beverage leadership roles within luxury hotel environments

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Food & Beverage operations fostering a culture of excellence accountability collaboration and inclusion
  • Lead recruitment onboarding training performance management succession planning and career development initiatives to build high-performing teams and future leaders
  • Partner with People & Culture and hotel leadership to support workforce planning employee engagement organizational development and compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Develop and execute the Food & Beverage strategy in alignment with hotel objectives brand standards and ownership expectations
  • Partner with hotel leadership and culinary teams to create and enhance dining concepts menus beverage programs and guest experiences
  • Drive innovation by monitoring market trends guest preferences and competitive offerings while ensuring the highest standards of quality consistency and presentation across all outlets
  • Oversee special projects promotions partnerships renovations and operational enhancements that elevate the guest experience and support business growth
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through the consistent execution of Four Seasons service standards across all Food & Beverage venues
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence building strong relationships with guests residents and key stakeholders while fostering collaboration across departments
  • Monitor guest feedback quality metrics and operational performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Lead operational planning and staffing strategies to support business demands special events and seasonal needs
  • Serve as a key member of the Hotel Planning Committee contributing to the property's strategic direction and financial success
  • Develop and manage operating budgets forecasts business plans and capital expenditures for all Food & Beverage operations
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic pricing cost controls labor management menu engineering and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with ownership and executive leadership to evaluate business performance identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that maximize market share guest satisfaction and return on investment
  • Ensure sound financial stewardship while balancing operational excellence employee engagement and exceptional guest experiences
