Known for delivering world-class hospitality, the Omaha Marriott Downtown has firmly established itself as one of the city’s leading hotels by offering extraordinary guest experiences, exceptional service, and superior style. The hotel’s prime location and dedication to excellence make it a sought-after destination for business and leisure travelers alike, who expect top-tier accommodations and stellar dining options during their stay.
As the Director of Food and Beverage at the Omaha Marriott Downtown, you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. This full-time management position offers a competitive salary package ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, along with customary executive committee benefits and a variety of employee perks. In this role, you will lead a diverse team and be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of multiple outlets including restaurants, bars, lounges, in-room dining, banquet and catering services, as well as social and group events. Your strategic vision will guide the food and beverage concepts, ensuring alignment with brand standards, market trends, and ownership goals.
You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through innovative menu development, pricing strategies, and creating unique dining experiences that set the hotel apart from competitors. Your leadership will ensure impeccable service quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across all food and beverage departments. Collaborating closely with culinary staff, sales teams, and hotel leadership, you will help foster a seamless guest experience for local patrons and visiting guests. By maintaining strong vendor relationships and managing departmental budgets, you will contribute significantly to financial goals and profitability.
Additionally, the role demands active engagement on the floor to monitor service quality and respond to guest feedback proactively, driving continuous improvement. You will also support large-scale events and group catering by coordinating with clients and ensuring flawless event execution. A key part of your responsibility will include recruiting, mentoring, and retaining talented food and beverage professionals to sustain a positive work environment and uphold high standards of hospitality.
The Omaha Marriott Downtown offers a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and professional development, providing opportunities for career advancement within Marcus Hotels and Resorts and Marriott properties. Employees benefit from excellent perks including medical, dental, and vision insurance (offered after one month), company-paid life insurance, paid time off, room discounts, employee meals, and more. Joining this team means becoming part of an organization committed to excellence and innovative hospitality, where your expertise will be valued and your leadership will help shape the future of dining experiences in Omaha’s dynamic market.
