Job Description
Four Seasons is a globally renowned luxury hospitality company powered by a dedicated team of passionate individuals committed to excellence. The company prides itself on fostering a culture where each team member is encouraged to grow, achieve new heights, and treat every individual with the respect and kindness they themselves expect. Through this people-first philosophy, Four Seasons creates exceptional experiences for its guests, residents, and partners, embodying genuine heart and world-class luxury standards in every interaction. The company believes that the foundation of delivering outstanding guest service lies within a strong employee experience and a vibrant company culture. This approach enables Four Seasons to consistently craft memorable stays, cooking up experiences that resonate lifelong impressions. Whether you are part of the Four Seasons family as an employee, guest, resident, or visitor, the company invites you to experience authentic connections that enrich life by engaging deeply with people and the world around us.
This particular opportunity is located within the iconic Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at New Orleans, an eminent landmark positioned on the banks of the Mississippi River in downtown. This venue blends riverfront luxury with the lively culture of one of America's most celebrated cities. Guests enjoy immersive experiences, including innovative Louisiana cuisine, a resort-style pool, and exclusive private event spaces like the 34th-floor observation deck offering some of New Orleans' best panoramic views.
The position open at this location is for the Director of Food and Beverage. This senior leadership role is critical, acting as a pivotal member of the hotel’s Planning Committee, contributing to strategic decision-making and leadership across the property. The Director will oversee the complete Food and Beverage division, encompassing all restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet services, in-room dining, and private bar operations. This role demands a leader who will not only maintain but continually elevate the high standards of quality and service to create extraordinary guest experiences with authentic hospitality. The Director is responsible for cultivating a positive, engaging environment for their team, fostering career growth, development, and overall employee satisfaction.
Financial stewardship is also a key component of this role. The Director will drive the division’s fiscal success through meticulous strategic planning, innovation, and disciplined expense management. This includes labor optimization, cost control, and uncovering new revenue streams that enhance profit while maintaining exceptional guest offerings. Building and sustaining collaborations with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, celebrity chefs, and local industry leaders is equally important to bolstering the division’s growth and advancing the Four Seasons’ market position.
Responsibilities include leading the development and execution of strategic plans that align with long-term brand goals and profitability, working closely with hotel leadership to ensure smooth operational workflows across departments, and spearheading the recruitment, development, and performance management of the Food and Beverage team in alignment with Four Seasons culture. Additionally, this role demands innovative leadership in restaurant and bar concept development and direct engagement in licensing and partnership oversight. The Director partners with culinary leadership to craft superior, sustainable menus and beverage programs, upholding the brand's renowned service standards.
This is an exciting leadership position for a seasoned professional passionate about delivering excellence in luxury hospitality food and beverage management, ready to contribute to a vibrant work culture with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.
