Situated in Houston, TX, one of their premier golf clubs embodies a blend of tradition, excellence, and superior service, making it a distinguished destination for golf enthusiasts and social members alike.

The Director of Food and Beverage role at this esteemed golf club represents a pivotal leadership position focused on overseeing all culinary and beverage operations. This individual will be entrusted with managing dining outlets, banquet events, and beverage services to ensure an exceptional guest experience that aligns with the club's prestigious reputation. The Director will play a strategic role in developing and executing plans aimed at driving revenue growth, elevating member satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence across all food and beverage services.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $95,000 plus bonus incentives. Additional benefits include paid time off, 401(k) retirement savings plans, and relocation assistance for the ideal candidate. This role demands not only strong management capabilities but also a refined understanding of upscale dining and beverage trends, honed through experience in similar private club or luxury hospitality environments.

As the leader of the food and beverage department, the Director will be responsible for managing budgets, implementing cost control measures, overseeing inventory, and purchasing for all food and beverage outlets. This role also involves recruiting, training, and mentoring a high-performing team comprising managers, chefs, and service staff to ensure the delivery of top-tier service. To maintain the highest standards, the Director must enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, promoting a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and members.

Collaboration is key in this role, as the Director will work closely with club leadership in planning special events, including high-profile tournaments and private functions. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in food and beverage operations
  • Experience working in upscale or private club environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
