Job Requirements
- Certificate or degree from accredited culinary school, college, or technical institution preferred
- Minimum of five years management-level Food and Beverage experience or equivalent
- Experience overseeing food and beverage operations including sales, inventory control, cost management, and food preparation
- Experience in food purchasing for catering and concession environments including price negotiation
- ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications
- PCI Compliance credentials
- Alcohol-awareness training
- Ability to train others in alcohol-awareness
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and staff
- Results-driven with budget management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong planning, written, and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Prior supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications

- Excellent customer service, organizational, multitasking, planning, written and verbal communication skills
- Prior supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to create visually appealing buffet presentations while maintaining product quality
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department at The Lansing Center and Groesbeck Golf Course
- Market Food and Beverage services to clients
- Establish operational controls and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage staff hiring, training, scheduling, performance, and disciplinary actions
- Create sales projections, event budgets, and maintain fiscal documentation
- Control inventory, spoilage, and cost of sales
- Inspect and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
