Inn Cahoots is Austin's first large-party boutique hotel, a dynamic and creative campus dedicated to fostering connection, live music, and memorable group experiences. Rooted deeply in Austin's vibrant culture, this unique hospitality establishment offers an event-driven atmosphere combined with multiple innovative bar concepts. Inn Cahoots brilliantly merges the intimate comfort of a private stay with the invigorating energy of a live music venue, setting a new standard for boutique hotel experiences in the region.

Expanding its reach, Inn Cahoots is opening a new location in Nashville, situated strategically between 1st and 2nd on Church Street. This Nashville campus will feature 17 group travel hotel rooms totaling 76 bedrooms, alongside three distinctive food and beverage outlets that include a Buffalo Trace Tasting Room, a stylish rooftop club complete with a pool, and an exclusive speakeasy. This expansion reflects the brand's dedication to creating vibrant, high-energy spaces that connect people through music, culture, and social experiences.

The Director of Food & Beverage role at Inn Cahoots is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing and scaling all food and beverage operations across both the Austin and Nashville campuses. This multifaceted role manages a diverse portfolio of venues, including multiple bars, cocktail programs, event-driven food and beverage services, in-room offerings, and other high-volume service environments intricately integrated within a boutique hotel and live music venue setting. The role requires a hands-on approach, blending strategic leadership with deep operational involvement.

Ideal candidates will bring a wealth of experience in managing elevated, high-energy hospitality concepts with strong financial acumen. The Director of Food & Beverage will be instrumental in building and developing systems and teams that deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences consistent with the Inn Cahoots brand identity. This involves maintaining high standards for guest experience, ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies, and driving financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.

Key responsibilities also include fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence among bar managers, beverage directors, and all members of the food and beverage leadership teams across both cities. The Director will collaborate closely with marketing and events teams to launch promotional initiatives, seasonal menus, and high-profile live music events and activations. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
  • 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit food & beverage operations
  • Proven experience managing high-volume bars or restaurants
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting forecasting and cost controls
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health safety and alcohol service regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit food & beverage operations
  • Strong background in bars nightlife or high-volume hospitality environments
  • Proven success managing $20M+ in F&B revenue preferred
  • Deep understanding of P&L management inventory and cost controls
  • Experience building and leading teams across multiple locations
  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and guest experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily food & beverage operations across all outlets including bars event bars rooftop service and in-room offerings in both Austin and Nashville
  • Ensure consistency in drink quality service standards and guest experience across all venues
  • Develop and refine bar programs menus and service models to align with brand identity and market demand
  • Maintain compliance with all health safety and alcohol service regulations
  • Own F&B P&L across both markets including budgeting forecasting and cost controls
  • Monitor revenue performance pricing strategy and margins across all outlets
  • Manage labor scheduling and productivity to optimize profitability
  • Identify opportunities to increase per-guest spend through programming upsells and service enhancements
  • Lead mentor and develop bar managers beverage directors and F&B leadership teams across both cities
  • Recruit onboard and train staff across all F&B roles
  • Establish clear standards for service training and performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability hospitality and high performance
  • Elevate the guest experience through innovative beverage programs and seamless service
  • Partner with events and programming teams to execute high-volume events live music nights and activations
  • Oversee bar execution for private events corporate buyouts and large-scale activations
  • Continuously refine offerings based on guest feedback and trends
  • Ensure all F&B outlets reflect the Inn Cahoots brand fun high-quality and experience-driven
  • Budget formulation focusing on revenue growth and cost-containment strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotions seasonal menus and revenue-driving initiatives
  • Support new concept development and expansion into additional markets
  • Use operational data to drive innovation and continuous improvement
