Employees at Marriott enjoy a culture that supports personal and professional growth, with the resources and leadership needed to thrive in the competitive hospitality industry.

The role being offered is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic management of the property’s food and beverage and culinary operations. This includes overseeing restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet/catering services where available. The Food and Beverage Director functions as the strategic business leader, tasked with developing and implementing departmental strategies in alignment with brand service initiatives and overall business goals.

In this role, the director ensures that the food and beverage operations meet the brand’s target customer needs while maintaining employee satisfaction. A key focus is on increasing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Through strategic planning and operational leadership, the director guides the team to provide exceptional service experiences that uphold the brand’s luxury standards.

Responsibilities include setting department goals, managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and leading a diverse team of food and beverage professionals. The director is expected to hold leadership accountable for service behaviors, ensure cash and liquor control policies are adhered to, and identify innovative opportunities to improve profitability without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.

Additionally, the position involves talent development—coaching, mentoring, and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration among team members. The Food and Beverage Director must stay conversant with market trends, introducing contemporary food and beverage products that align with guest expectations and maintain competitiveness.

Customer service excellence is central to the role, with a mandate to review guest feedback, implement corrective actions, and empower staff to deliver memorable experiences consistently. Human resource management duties include setting clear performance expectations, supporting leadership in managing costs, and ensuring fair treatment of employees.

Overall, this leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate the food and beverage operations within a top-tier luxury hotel brand that values innovation, culture, and exceptional guest engagement.
