Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage or equivalent experience
- Five plus years related experience and/or training
- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of food and liquor laws
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must obtain and maintain Liquor License
- Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification
- Must obtain and maintain Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License
- Valid documents establishing identity and employment eligibility
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage from a four-year college or university or five plus years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and progressive work experience
- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of laws governing food and liquor handling
- Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to obtain Liquor License
- Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Certification
- Documents establishing identity and employment eligibility
- Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License
Job Duties
- Ensure excellent internal and external guest service
- Manage and administer all vital elements of the Food and Beverage Department including training, trade-knowledge, supervision and evaluation of assigned staff and scheduling
- Review activities in all restaurants and bar areas to gauge and improve staffing levels, working conditions and other matters which influence quality guest service and profitability
- Participate in preparation of budgets for all Food and Beverage Departments
- Oversee recommendations and establishment of prices and portions for products and services within approved profit and plan guidelines
- Maximize revenues and control costs of Food and Beverage operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local liquor regulations
- Administer process to ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Prepare cost and operational reports
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints
- Verify sales reporting, cash handling, and payroll accounting reports
- Ensure effective operations of all Food and Beverage venues
- Coordinate with marketing department to plan food and beverage related events
- Ensure a safe environment for guests and associates
- Understand and demonstrate commitment to the casino's goals and vision
- Perform other duties as required by management
