The role of Director of Finance at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting activities on-site. This includes supervision of account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, credit, and collections, as well as maintaining and monitoring operating systems, procedures, and internal controls. The Director of Finance ensures the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, cash flow reports, and tax filings in compliance with corporate policies and applicable legal requirements. They provide financial analysis and interpretation designed to inform and advise the General Manager and the Omni Corporate Team, supporting strategic planning and operational decision-making. This executive role also involves managing balance sheet analyses on a regular basis, ensuring all financial forecasts, budgets, and external reports are submitted punctually, and maintaining strict adherence to management agreements and legal documents pertinent to the resort's financial health.

The ideal candidate for Director of Finance will bring extensive experience in hotel or resort finance management, preferably having held prior roles such as Assistant Controller or Senior Public Accountant. They must be proficient in general ledger management and month-end closing processes and exhibit excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
