Job Requirements

  • Fine dining experience is a must
  • Minimum of high school education
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a full-service high-end hotel or resort with high-volume banquets and events
  • Union operation experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage many tasks

Job Duties

  • Leads the execution of the highest quality of food, beverage, and service related to all outlets and banquet and event areas
  • Provides leadership and coordination of all activities of the assigned banquet department team
  • Sets and maintains training standards throughout the department
  • Spearheads the coordination of banquet service needs with food production
  • Promotes effective communication within and between departments to ensure proper servicing of guests' expectations
  • Embodies the highest level of professionalism and hospitality in guest relations in all guest contact
  • Controls all costs and expenses to ensure budgetary and forecasted guidelines are met
