The role being advertised is for the Director of Food & Beverage, a critical leadership position within the hotel’s management team. This full-time role offers an annual salary range from $95,000 to $105,000, reflecting the importance and scope of responsibilities associated with the position. The Director of Food & Beverage is entrusted with overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hotel including multiple outlets, banquet services, and kitchen management. This hands-on operational leader plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and safety compliance across all dining and event services. With a focus on guest satisfaction, this individual ensures smooth and efficient service delivery while upholding OSHA regulations, health and sanitation standards, and alcohol service laws like the Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) program. The role requires strong collaboration with various departments such as sales, catering, rooms, and engineering to ensure that group and transient business functions are executed seamlessly. Beyond daily operational leadership, the Director is responsible for financial stewardship including revenue management, cost control, labor productivity, budgeting, forecasting, and timely financial reporting. They will also champion continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing guest feedback through platforms like Revinate, social media, and Google Business, driving enhancements in food quality, service, and overall experience. As a hands-on manager, this leader maintains a strong presence during peak service periods and special events, often acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD) to support and inspire their team. Recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating staff to maintain a positive, high-performance culture aligned with Oh So Original’s core values is essential to success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 to 5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a comparable setting. Expertise in restaurant, bar, banquet, kitchen, and catering operations is vital, along with proficiency in labor management systems and POS technologies such as Micros, BinWise, and Unifocus. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and organizational talents are required to effectively direct a diverse F&B team and maintain operational excellence. This position demands flexibility to work weekends and participate in MOD coverage as business needs dictate. Physical requirements include the ability to remain active throughout an eight-hour shift, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and sanitation standards, and alcohol service regulations (RBS)
