Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • sales experience is a plus
  • working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environments
  • must be able to successfully complete Level 3 Skills training
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with computer software and programs including Microsoft Office and the Internet
  • effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus
  • valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels and provide outstanding customer service
  • service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • identify key issues and decision makers for contract renewal and leverage internal resources
  • consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • participate in business review presentations
  • manage an efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment sub-rentals, and costs
  • utilize operational and financial reports for accurate forecasting and reporting
  • coordinate invoicing and ensure timely client billing approval
  • complete sales forecasts accurately and on time
  • manage location profit and loss and develop action plans
  • confirm venue partners process payments timely
  • direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setup and strike
  • ensure timely delivery and proper function of equipment and services
  • anticipate equipment challenges proactively
  • maintain inventory control and safety standards
  • share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market
  • attend operational venue meetings
  • apply advanced troubleshooting and problem solving for equipment and software issues
  • utilize company computer systems effectively
  • act as solo on-site technician if needed
  • create strategies to maximize event revenue including upsell and cross-sell
  • prepare and deliver presentations and proposals
  • attend site visits and planning meetings
  • collaborate with vendors and company departments
  • understand event cost structures for profitable solutions
  • maintain updated customer information in CRM
  • stay informed on new products and technologies
  • present performance reports to senior management
  • cultivate customer relationships and exceed service expectations
  • oversee personnel assisting with event execution
  • meet guests on site to ensure needs and equipment setup are met
  • monitor venue and check on customers periodically
  • uphold professional appearance and standards
  • promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • manage staffing, performance, and development of team members
  • conduct coaching and training on Encore standards and systems
  • implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
