The Events Manager role at Legends Global is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management within the facility. This role entails assisting in the development of event-specific security and staffing plans, as well as crafting budgets for the security, events, and guest services departments. The Events Manager serves as the primary contact for event clients, providing expert advice on facility requirements and additional services, ensuring client satisfaction, and promptly addressing any concerns during events. Leadership and supervisory duties are crucial, including mentoring and developing Event Managers, Coordinators, and Assistants, managing workload assignments, and promoting departmental growth through effective cost analysis, database management, and policy development. Additionally, the Events Manager maintains strong professional relationships within the event planning, production, and promotion communities. This position plays an integral role in organizing and maintaining essential documentation, creating operational best practices, managing contracts, and coordinating external event staffing, such as off-duty police officers and EMT personnel. The Events Manager also assumes responsibility for emergency response coordination and liaison activities with local, state, and federal law enforcement and life safety agencies. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are mandatory, along with the readiness to serve as Manager on Duty as required. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in supervising or managing in a similar facility
- Supervisory experience required

Job Duties
- Assist the event managers in the development of event specific security and staffing plans
- Develop event budgets for security, events and guest services department
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients, advising them on the facility's requirements and additional services
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs promptly and resolving any concerns during the event
- Supervise, mentor and develop event managers, coordinators and assistants while overseeing all aspects of facility operations related to events
- Facilitate department growth along with day-to-day responsibilities including cost analysis reports, database maintenance and event policy development
- Foster and maintain long-term relationships in the event planning, production, and promotion communities, and with other relevant companies, organizations, and groups
- Assign event workload to event managers, coordinators and assistants
- Ensure an efficient and smooth planning process for clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies and procedures
- Organize and maintain files, correspondence and documents related to events
- Create and develop processes and procedures related to best practices for operational planning and execution of events
- Manage contracts in support of event production and venue needs
- Monitor in-house events, maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events
- Elicit feedback and follow-up on all client requests and concerns
- Lead and/or attend appropriate planning, organization and other event and facility meetings in support of facility operations
- Coordinate the scheduling of external event staffing personnel including, but not limited to, off duty police officers, EMTs, peer group security as needed
- Provide effective direction to staff in emergency response situations and manage facility EAP with regular updates and exercises in conjunction with the director of Operations
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local, state and Federal law enforcement and life safety agencies
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Serve as MOD (Manager on Duty) as required
