The Director of Event Services is entrusted with the strategic leadership and operational oversight of critical components including Event Services, Guest Services, Security, and Parking. This role is pivotal in crafting exceptional guest and client experiences through the development and enforcement of rigorous service standards and by optimizing operational workflows for maximum efficiency and safety during live events. The director is responsible for all phases of event management, from initial planning, through on-site execution, to post-event evaluations. By collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders such as promoters and clients, as well as external agencies including local law enforcement and emergency management services, the director ensures seamless event delivery that aligns with organizational goals and community standards. Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in sports/event management hospitality management business or related field or equivalent experience
- minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale event or venue management
- demonstrated ability to lead teams manage complex operations and execute high-profile events
- experience in arenas or venues with approximately 12000 plus capacity preferred
- law enforcement background a plus
- proficiency with event management systems such as momentus elite
- experience with incident management platforms such as switchbase
- certifications in crowd management venue safety or industry programs such as trained crowd manager IAVM venue management school IAVM academy of venue safety and security certified venue professional
Job Duties
