The position of Event Planning Manager at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal role within the event management team. This management role is responsible for overseeing the daily functions and staff within the event planning department, which includes Senior Event Managers, Event Managers, Associate Event Managers, and Administrative Assistants. The Event Planning Manager ensures the smooth transition between the various stages of event execution, from the pre-event preparation phases to post-event wrap-ups, guaranteeing seamless coordination between sales and operations teams. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
