We are currently seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This management position offers an annual salary range between $97,000 and $126,000, with eligibility for bonuses and relocation assistance available. The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all event service, banquet, and event technology operations and staff on a daily basis at our property in Irving, Texas. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the highest levels of service throughout the event lifecycle, from planning and execution to post-event procedures.
The successful candidate will manage a core team consisting of Senior Banquet Managers, Banquet Managers, Senior Event Service Managers, Event Service Managers, and Event Technology and Operations Managers. They will ensure that all events are flawlessly executed, coordinating logistics and maintaining operational excellence. The position demands strong leadership to maximize revenue through strategic up-selling during events and to drive profitability by effectively managing costs. Financial performance management of the Event Operations Department is a key responsibility, requiring continual monitoring of budgets and expenditures.
Customer satisfaction is paramount in this role, as the Event Operations Manager will consult with clients to understand their objectives and requirements, ensuring events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions are executed flawlessly. They will exemplify leadership in guest hospitality, foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, and property stakeholders, and uphold safety and compliance standards in all event operations.
Additionally, this role involves human resources responsibilities, such as reviewing staffing levels, conducting pre-event meetings, managing disciplinary procedures, and ensuring all employees maintain necessary certifications. The Manager must champion departmental policies and corporate initiatives, participate in audits, and maintain open communication channels across event operations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related area
- OR two-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Two years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related area
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operations
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance
- Capability to handle budget management and profitability goals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with four years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with two years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related area
- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Experience with customer service and client consultation

Job Duties
