Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a modern 336-bed facility that is part of the seven-hospital Valley Health System serving the Northwest Las Vegas community. As a well-established medical institution, Centennial Hills Hospital offers a wide range of specialized medical services and procedures designed to meet the diverse healthcare needs of its patients. Among its notable offerings are comprehensive women's health services, including digital mammography, gynecologic care, and advanced gynecologic surgeries. The Women’s Center is particularly distinguished for its comprehensive maternity services, which encompass labor and delivery, recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to high-quality maternal and neonatal care.

The hospital has earned recognition as a High Performing Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in heart failure, stroke, and maternity care from 2022 to 2023. This accolade underscores Centennial Hills Hospital’s dedication to delivering outstanding healthcare outcomes and maintaining high standards of patient care. Furthermore, the hospital has demonstrated leadership in public health initiatives, notably becoming the first tobacco-free campus in Nevada, showcasing its commitment to community health and wellness.

Centennial Hills Hospital is part of the Valley Health System, which is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services. UHS operates across the nation with a workforce of approximately 101,500 employees and offers numerous career and professional development opportunities through its extensive network of subsidiaries.

The position of Director of Environmental Services at Centennial Hills Hospital is a vital leadership role responsible for managing the Environmental Services Program across the hospital and its affiliated buildings and clinics. The Director ensures that all areas maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment essential for patient safety and satisfaction. This role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of the Environmental Services personnel to meet the department’s objectives and uphold quality standards in all janitorial and sanitation functions.

As Director, you will provide overall leadership and management to ensure the performance of Environmental Services staff aligns with the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care in a clean and safe environment. This includes fostering effective relationships with other hospital departments, promoting teamwork, and ensuring regulatory compliance relevant to healthcare sanitation requirements. The position demands a strategic approach to environmental services, focusing on both operational excellence and a unified approach to service delivery across multiple sites. This is a full-time role offering competitive compensation and benefits, including medical and dental care, generous paid time off, retirement plans, and career growth opportunities within the UHS corporate family.
