Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred
  • Food Safety certification
  • Previous cooking experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to lead a team effectively
  • Physical ability to lift trays and move dining tables and furniture
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred
  • Food Safety certification, required
  • Previous experience cooking in a similar environment
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to lead a team effectively
  • Effective communication skills with residents and coworkers

Job Duties

  • Oversee the entire culinary department operation
  • train and supervise all culinary department associates
  • maintain inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment
  • manage departmental budget
  • prepare and serve food and refreshments
  • oversee setup for meals and special events
  • ensure cleanliness and smooth functioning of kitchen and dining room
