Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a well-established 336-bed healthcare facility that forms an integral part of the seven-hospital Valley Health System, dedicated to serving the Northwest Las Vegas community. This hospital is recognized for its comprehensive range of medical services, encompassing everything from routine care to specialized procedures, with a notable focus on women's health. Its Women's Center offers an array of essential services including digital mammography, gynecologic care and surgery, maternity services with labor and delivery support, dedicated recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a highly specialized Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Centennial Hills Hospital's dedication to community well-being is further exemplified by its status as the first tobacco-free campus in Nevada, highlighting its proactive approach to health promotion in the community it serves.

The hospital has gained recognition by U.S. News & World Report as a High Performing Hospital for Heart Failure, Stroke, and Maternity Care for the years 2022-2023, testifying to its commitment to quality healthcare outcomes. As part of the larger Valley Health System, owned and operated by Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), Centennial Hills Hospital benefits from the support and standards of one of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services. UHS, a Fortune 500 company with a workforce of approximately 101,500 employees, operates a variety of healthcare facilities across 40 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, ensuring a broad and impactful reach in the healthcare industry.

The role being offered at Centennial Hills Hospital is for a leadership position as the Director of Nutrition and Food Services. This role is fundamental to the hospital’s operations, managing not only the logistics of nutrition but also the quality and efficiency of food service delivery across various sectors including the cafeteria, patient food services, kitchen staff, and support personnel. The Director leads these teams with a focus on maintaining high standards of nutritional care and education, working alongside the Clinical Nutrition Manager to ensure that patient nutrition meets specialized clinical needs. This position requires a strategic and operational leader who can handle a dynamic environment, balancing administrative responsibilities with the delivery of patient-centered care. The Director will be instrumental in fostering a service-oriented culture aligned with the UHS Service Excellence Program, which emphasizes treating everyone as a guest, demonstrating professionalism and excellence, and practicing teamwork.

This full-time position demands a strong background in food service administration with seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience, technical proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, and relevant certifications like the Food Handler Safety Training Card and ServSafe Certification. Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and skills applicable to food service in a healthcare setting, abiding by safety and regulatory standards while innovating to improve service quality and patient satisfaction. Employment in this role is backed by a robust benefits package including competitive compensation, generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, 401(k) with company match, and career development opportunities through UHS and its subsidiaries.
