Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food service administration or equivalent experience
- Seven to ten years of progressively responsible food service administrative experience
- Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Must achieve ServSafe Certification within 90-day employment
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care/service
- Registered Dietitian or qualification in institutional management, nutritional sciences, hotel restaurant management, culinary arts, or certified dietary manager with medical diet experience
- No exposure to blood, body fluids, or emergency medical care required

Job Duties
- Direct and manage the entire nutrition and food service department including cafeteria, patient food personnel, kitchen staff, support personnel
- Collaborate with the Manager, Clinical Nutrition on patient nutrition and nutritional education
- Oversee the delivery of food service to patients and staff ensuring quality and compliance with health standards
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain safety and efficiency in food service operations
- Develop and manage budgets related to the nutrition and food service department
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of food service staff
- Monitor and assess food service quality and patient satisfaction, making improvements as necessary
