Responsibilities include managing all logistical elements, cultivating sponsorships and in-kind partnerships, engaging donors, and directing volunteer committees. This position also involves developing quarterly cultivation and community relations events to enhance donor engagement and broaden the Museum’s visibility in the community.

Furthermore, the Director of Development Events is tasked with maintaining meticulous financial oversight for all events, including budget preparation, monitoring sponsorship pipelines, and ensuring fundraising targets are achieved. Mastery in utilizing CRM systems, preferably Bloomerang, and website management tools is critical for effective donor management, event tracking, ticketing, and reporting, ensuring that all activities are data-driven and seamlessly executed.

This is a strategic leadership role that combines creativity, operational excellence, and community outreach to support the Museum’s development goals. The Director will work collaboratively across departments, volunteers, and external partners to uphold the highest standards of stewardship and event success.
