Job Description

Our client is a distinguished, family-led luxury residential construction firm with a legacy spanning over 40 years in the New England region. Renowned for craftsmanship, discretion, and a commitment to delivering architecturally significant custom homes, the company specializes in complex renovations and historic restorations. This builder operates at a significant scale, generating tens of millions in annual revenue and maintaining an exceptionally strong backlog of projects. Their integrated business model incorporates in-house millwork and long-term home management services, ensuring a seamless and high-quality client experience from start to finish. The company prides itself on providing a white-glove client experience and consistently meeting the highest standards in luxury residential construction.

The opportunity at hand is for a senior leadership role focused on managing and leading a team responsible for landmark luxury homes with budgets typically exceeding 5 million dollars. This position offers executive visibility and real influence over delivery standards across projects, making it crucial to the operational success and strategic direction of the business. In this role, you will provide overall leadership to a team comprising four Project Managers and four Assistant Project Managers, with future oversight of field staff, guiding them in delivering outstanding quality control, scheduling, and an exceptional client experience.

As a senior escalation point, you will handle complex technical, staffing, or client-facing issues that may arise during construction. Collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership is essential, aligning construction operations with the company’s growth plans and vision. You will foster a culture of accountability, communication, and collaboration within the project management team, while continuously improving systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms. Coordination with in-house millwork, design support, and field teams ensures seamless execution of projects, reflecting the company’s dedication to a harmonized and efficient construction process.

This is a full-time, office-based role located in Holden, Massachusetts, with occasional light site travel required. The company values diversity and encourages applications from minorities, women, people with disabilities, protected veterans, and all other qualified applicants. The successful candidate will bring 15 to 20 or more years of construction experience, ideally within high-end or luxury residential environments, and have proven leadership capabilities in managing and mentoring project managers to build high-performing teams. Experience delivering complex, design-driven custom homes and large-scale renovations is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills, decisiveness, and executive-level accountability. Proficiency in construction management software, Microsoft Office applications, and Bluebeam is required to effectively oversee project workflows and reporting.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary of up to $200,000, a company vehicle with a gas card, comprehensive healthcare coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, three weeks of paid time off plus one week of sick leave, and nine paid holidays. Additionally, the role offers the stability of working with a well-capitalized and highly respected luxury builder, providing long-term career growth within a prestigious firm known for its quality and client satisfaction.
