Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field
- minimum five years hospitality experience at management level
- at least one year of hotel management leadership experience
- ability to travel up to 10 percent
- proficiency with hotel property management systems
- strong analytical and financial skills
- excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- effective conflict resolution skills
- commitment to Hilton's values and culture
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years hospitality-related experience at manager level
- minimum one year leadership experience in hotel management
- knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- significant experience in revenue management or related analytical roles
- relevant degree in business development or related field
- certified meeting professional (CMP) or certified professional catering executive (CPCE) designation preferred
- strong leadership and team-building skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- understanding of financial management and budgeting
- ability to innovate and improve event delivery processes
Job Duties
- Implement commercial strategic initiatives and monitor for best-in-class results
- drive innovation and creativity within event delivery
- partner with General Manager and Executive Committee to deliver high-impact event experiences
- ensure high quality service standards through continuous process reviews
- provide owner relations guidance in key event expertise areas
- actively support the sales process
- provide overall leadership and direction in all events matters
- serve as subject matter expert on event experience
- engage proactively with leadership, sales, team members, guests, and suppliers
- stay current on event trends and share best practices
- represent Hilton in industry associations
- inspire high-performing multi-cultural teams
- integrate Hilton's values in all initiatives
- lead with Hilton culture and serve as customer service ambassador
- motivate team members and provide a productive work environment
- ensure career development plans for all catering and event managers
- manage group and interpersonal conflict effectively
- ensure proper use of all function and event spaces
- manage supplier and vendor relationships
- maintain subject matter expertise and standards compliance
- manage departmental budgets and forecasting
- integrate current event management trends
- lead customer site inspections and sales process
