Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years hospitality related experience at manager level
  • Minimum three years leadership experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 percent
  • Relevant degree preferred (CMP, CPCE certifications advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems
  • Experience with revenue management or analytical roles

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years hospitality related experience at manager level
  • Minimum three years leadership experience
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
  • Experience in revenue management or similar analytical role
  • Relevant degree in business development or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to innovate and drive event creativity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in budget management

Job Duties

  • Implement commercial strategic initiatives
  • Drive innovation and creativity within event delivery
  • Partner with General Manager/Executive Committee to deliver Hilton's values
  • Ensure high quality service standards
  • Provide owner relations guidance
  • Support the sales process
  • Provide leadership and direction in all events matters
  • Serve as subject matter expert on event experience
  • Engage with team members, guests, and suppliers
  • Stay current on event trends
  • Inspire multi-cultural, multi-generational teams
  • Integrate Hilton's values in initiatives
  • Motivate team members
  • Manage conflict effectively
  • Ensure proper use of function and event spaces
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets
  • Oversee forecasting and cost reporting
  • Ensure proper staffing
  • Participate in customer site inspections
  • Assist with sales process
