The available position involves a leadership role based out of the Douglasville Conference Center and Greystone Amphitheatre, facilities managed in partnership with the City of Douglasville. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional responsible for overseeing sales, catering, event execution, and client partnerships. Acting as the primary liaison to the City of Douglasville, the successful candidate will lead all private event sales, food and beverage operations, and on-site execution ensuring seamless event delivery from start to finish.

Key aspects of this position include driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and upselling, managing all aspects of banquet and event operations to maintain high service standards, and overseeing financial management responsibilities like budgeting, forecasting, and billing accuracy. The role also demands outstanding leadership capability to mentor and develop a diverse team, including managerial and hourly staff. Collaborating closely with culinary and beverage teams, the candidate will contribute to innovative menu design and promotional activities, aligning offerings with current market trends and profitability goals. Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales catering event operations or hospitality leadership
  • proven experience managing client relationships and large-scale events
  • strong financial acumen including budgeting forecasting and reporting
  • demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in high-volume environments
  • excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills
  • experience with CRM/BEO systems (Caterease AllSeated/Prismm preferred)
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality business or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • drive catering and event revenue through proactive sales strategies client relationship development and upselling opportunities
  • collaborate with clients to align event scope with budget while maximizing profitability
  • partner with leadership to identify and implement revenue growth initiatives
  • oversee all banquet and event operations ensuring high standards of service and execution
